Jessica
Jessica is a heroin addict and works as a prostitute to support her habit. She has lived in Tijuana since the fall of 2014. She went to school in the United States and reports that she has lots of computer skills. She is also an artist and poet. She says many of her clients don't really even care about sex; they want the companionship and a sense of connection so she uses that to her advantage and even tells some of her clients that she loves them. Jessica says she does care about them but she has also stolen from them. In the fall of 2016, she left for the US to clean up. In February of 2017, she returned to Tijuana. In August, I saw her for the first time since she returned and she showed me her middle finger. The top portion had been cut off due to a serious abscess/infection after she tried shooting up in her hand. She is still working as a prostitute.
